I will be the first to admit my son was not the most attractive newborn. He’s adorable now, but he wasn’t even six pounds and looked like a little alien. But Miss I here? She was beautiful! Absolutely stunning little girl and was the sweetest little thing for our newborn session together!
I mean, just look at that fluffy hair and those tiny toes! She made me almost want another one of my own (Almost. I have three of my own and that’s plenty for me!)
I love when parents want to get into pictures during a newborn session. I know as a new mom it’s a lot of work to get presentable for pictures, but Miss I’s parents rocked it. And Miss I looks so tiny in her parent’s arms!
I really could not get enough of her sweet face. I wanted to capture her from every angle, including her adorable profile. My light wall is the perfect spot to grab those profile shots. The light coming from behind her face really highlights baby’s perfect little features!
At one point this sweet girl gave us some awake time to show off her beautiful eyes. It’s always so amazing to me how much different newborns look when they are awake. I love sleeping babies, but I also really love calm awake ones too. It gives a lot of extra variety in our photos!
I wanted to give this sweet girl a little piece of photography magic with her session, and since it’s so close to Christmas a Santa picture seemed like a good choice! I love creating these special images for clients!
