When you are *this* sweet, what better way to celebrate your first birthday than an Ice Cream Cake Smash Session?!? I was so excited to see this sweet girl again and she was every bit as sweet as her set-up!

She was so full of personality and spunk – my favorite type of one year olds! I loved her smiles and her expressions. And who can resist her beautiful hair?!? I’ve had the honor of photographing Miss I’s family several times over the years and they are always so much fun to work with. This sweet girl has THREE older sisters who are all just as sweet and spunky and Miss I is!

I mean, just look at those little teeth in that big smile! You just can’t help but smile right along with her! And of course I couldn’t resist using my favorite little hammock chair from Hello Little Props! It shows up in almost all my one year old sessions.

Cake time!!

Isn’t that the perfect cake for this session? I loved all the sprinkles!!

This sweetheart wasn’t thrilled about eating anything more than the sprinkles and frosting, but that’s okay. That’s actually pretty typical for babies. It’s pretty rare that I get a baby who actually goes to town and eats a lot of cake.

Even without chowing down on the cake, we still had a great time and got lots of frosting face filled photos! And really, isn’t that what counts in the end? Having a blast and making a mess are always the first priority!
