Senior Session, Delhi Garden Center
“My daughter loves plants and would like to incorporate them into her senior session” were the best words I could have read in a senior session inquiry! I am a bit of a plant nerd myself, so I was extra excited about this one and I knew just where I wanted to use as our backdrop – Delhi Garden Center in Liberty Township, Ohio!
Senior year is such an exciting time! And this senior is going places. She told me she wants to study neuroscience in college and would like to cure Alzheimer’s. Talk about amazing goals!
During her session, we chatted about school and future plans, and of course plants! Delhi Garden Center has an amazing assortment of really fun houseplants and I found myself asking Sarah for plant advice. Apparently she’s even mastered care of a fiddle leaf fig tree – now THAT is talent! My FLF hasn’t put out a new leaf since I brought it home.
The rows of plants and flowers throughout the garden center made for a fantastic backdrop for our session. Delhi has such a beautiful store! I’ve been here to shop several times before, but this was my first time actually shooting here and I hope it’s not the last time!
We even found a corner that was somewhat plant-less for a few images to satisfy her yearbook requirements.
After spending some time in the garden center, we headed down the road to an outdoor park.
That way we could get a little more variety. Senior session galleries usually come with around 25 images, but Sarah rocked her session! she ended up with a lot of final images. And my senior session package includes all the digital files of your final images. I hope she doesn’t have too much trouble narrowing down which ones to hang on her walls!
We had a warm sunny afternoon for our session, so we tried to stick the shady areas at the park. Voice of America park is a beautiful location with lots of options for photos!
I had a great time working with Sarah and her mom! I wish her the best of luck with this last year of school. Congratulations to everyone in the class of 2022!
