When thinking about scheduling a Senior Session, picking a location can feel like a big deal. I am always happy to make recommendations based on the vibe your senior is looking for. City vibe? I’ve got several spots I love. Nature? I have ideas. Rentschler Forest Metro Park in Hamilton, Ohio almost always ends up on my list of suggested spots for nature loving teens!
There is the always popular tree line at Rentschler that everyone loves. It’s a short little hike to get to where these trees are, but I just love the look it gives!
Rentschler Forest is so much more than just trees though! Not far from this tree line is a really cool old barn that gets beautiful light in the late afternoons.
On the other side of the park, there are even more spots for pictures! One of my favorite spots to use in the park for high school senior sessions is the creek. It is easily accessible and there is rarely a lot of water so it gives great nature vibes with little risk of getting wet.
Rentschler Forest also has some riverfront area. While there aren’t a ton of spots to get down by the actual water and sometimes we may have to wait a little bit for other people to finish their turn, it’s worth the wait!
And of course Rentschler has plenty of trees. In the fall some of the most beautiful color is found in this park! The stone building at the front of the park and the stone bridge are other spots I almost always stop to grab at least a couple pictures.
