I have photographed this family multiple times over the years. I love the four energetic daughters and I was thrilled when they contacted me about a newborn session for baby number 5! And surprise, surprise – after four girls they had a BOY! And what a perfect little guy he is!

His big sisters were completely enamored with him. They were all like little mamas with him and it was one of the sweetest things to witness. What a lucky little dude! Mom and dad were pretty in love with him too.

And then it was time for Mr. A to shine on his own.

As you can imagine, wrangling a family with 5 kids for pictures was quite the adventure. Of course, before his sisters left they wanted to pick out some accessories for his pictures – like this adorable little bear bonnet! It came from one of my favorite vendors, Chicaboo. This guy was such an easy going baby. Once he fell asleep, he was content to let me pose him however I wanted. Babies like him make my job so easy and it definitely didn’t hurt that he is absolutely adorable.

He was so easy to work with and just look at that smile he gave me too! I’m not always able to capture smiles during a newborn session, but when I do it feels like pure magic. They always end up being some of my favorite images from the session.

One special addition we made to this session was the inclusion of this special cloth. This same fabric was incorporated with the girls during their newborn sessions. Being able to include important cultural or sentimental items into my newborn sessions is always exciting!

Welcome Mr. A into the world! I can’t wait to see him grow up along side his big sisters and I look forward to documenting their family for many years to come.
