Most newborn clients book their session before birth, but I often have time for last minute newborn sessions! And I’m so glad it worked out to get Mr. Roger into the studio for some pictures. He was SO sweet and he brought along his whole crew of adults who are obviously smitten with him. What a lucky little baby to have so many people to love on him!
Roger was such a sweet little guy. He slept all the way through his family pictures and was as calm as could be. And he looked so adorable on this dark blue flokati. Blue is definitely his color!
This bucket makes an appearance at most of my newborn sessions. It’s a really cool invention from Hello Little Props (www.hellolittleprops.com). The bucket is magnetic and has “huggers” to change the entire look of the set-up without disturbing baby at all! I didn’t move Roger one bit between these two pictures!
After the bucket, Roger decided it was time for a snack and some awake time. I always love awake newborn pictures so much as long as baby is happy. And Roger was a happy little guy! He made some great expressions too. Before his session, Roger’s mom mentioned his dad really liked hunting and would love something camo for pictures. I found this perfect camo backdrop with a little texture and muted colors that I am excited to have in my collection now!
Finally it was nap time again, so to the posing table we went! Once Roger fell asleep, he slept HARD. He didn’t flinch or fuss at all! Such a sweet little guy!
I always like to include a little extra for newborn sessions and these digital creations are so much fun to put together! I was excited to include these into Roger’s gallery for his parents!
