I’ve known this family for several years and have been so lucky to have documented some big milestones for the kids. And when I found out they were adding another kiddo to the family, I was thrilled to be able to take newborn pictures for them again!
I love when these kids come to visit me in the studio. Big brother and big sister are so full of personality and spunk and always keep me laughing and smiling through their session. I’m sure little Miss Alice is going to have a fun household to grow up in with those two as big siblings!
These kids can also be incredibly sweet. Big brother is particular was insistent he get some pictures of just him and his littlest sister. And the way he soothed her when she started to fuss a little totally melted my heart!
When big sister was a newborn, we did photos with train tracks so of course we needed to recreate that with Miss Alice’s photos too!
Miss Alice was such a trooper with all the moving around and the little bit of chaos that comes with being the youngest of three kids. She was such a chill little thing and made my job so easy. Even when she was awake she was happy to just hang out! And then when she got tired, she just closed her eyes and went to sleep.
I absolutely loved this profile shot of Miss Alice. She just looks so dainty and sweet!
And of course I had to incorporate my favorite bucket. I use this bucket in almost all my newborn sessions. It has interchangeable covers so I can change it’s look for every session without having to store a million individual buckets! They come from my favorite vendor Hello Little Props and you can find them online here: www.hellolittleprops.com .
Once she was asleep, we moved over to the posing table for those sweet sleepy pictures.
Doesn’t Miss Alice have the most beautiful head of hair? I bet her mom had a lot of heartburn! I know that old wives tale isn’t true for everyone, but it certainly was true for me! She was such a little doll and I had the best time getting snuggles from her at our session. Baby snuggles are the best part of my job!

You are simply amazing! I have told you in person how lucky I feel to have been connected to you, but it’s true. I have cherished every single picture you have given my family since L’s first birthday! And yes, the big siblings are definitely spunky (and a little bit punky, too!). Thank you again 🙂
