Who said themed sessions were just for the one year old crowd? Miss E is turning 2 and her mom settled on a “TWO Groovy” themed set-up for her yearly photos! I was super excited to plan this one. A fun hippie theme is right up my alley!

In typical two year old fashion, Miss E wasn’t super into my shenanigans at first. We just played with some of the props I had put out and I captured the faces and expressions she gave me while we were playing. Toddler photo sessions are very laid back and relaxed with me. I would never expect a two year old to just come in, sit down, and start to smile – anyone who thinks that’s possible doesn’t understand two year olds.

Miss E was particularly interested in the ukulele I incorporated into her set. And I think it made the perfect prop for a few images!

Eventually Miss E was ready to have a seat and give me some adorable smiles. And can we talk about how perfect her shirt it? Mom always gets the best outfits for sessions!

I think Miss E had a good time at our session. We turned on some tunes, did some singing and dancing and had a grand old time! I have a playlist curated especially for toddler sessions which is always a lot of fun to listen to with my small clients.

I love toddlers so much! Their sessions are always so much fun and so energetic. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t go home and want to take a nap afterwards, haha.
