Senior Session, Downtown Lebanon
I love shooting senior sessions in fields and forests with trees and flowers. But shooting in a more urban area will always be my favorite! For this session, we opted to use Downtown Lebanon for our backdrop. Lebanon has a really cool vibe for pictures with the old buildings and unique alleyways. And then there’s that train station!!
Shane started his session by the Golden Lamb restaurant. I’ve never eaten there myself, but I hear it’s amazing. I also hear it’s haunted. You can check them out at www.goldenlamb.com I think staying in the hotel would be a really fun adventure – I love spooky supernatural stuff!
Shane does acting and modeling on the side, so he made my job *SO* easy. He also is a competitive gymnast! He told me he spends probably 20 hours or more in the gym each week – talk about dedication!
After the Golden Lamb, we walked down the street a bit to this awesome set of stairs. I just love the brick sidewalks throughout downtown Lebanon too. It gives such an interesting texture to our photos!
After a quick wardrobe change, we started to make our rounds through the downtown area. Lebanon was having a celebration of some sort on our session day, so a couple of the streets were closed off and filled with tables and chairs. What a fun chance to just be outdoors in our community! Shane and I snuck down one of the brick alleyways for a few photos.
We continued on our walk through downtown and ended up down at the train station. The train was boarding for a dinner ride. Everyone was dressed up and looked fancy. It looked like it would be a good time! You can check out the LM&M Railway here: www.lebanonrr.com They do train rides throughout the year! But for our session, it just provided a fun backdrop and a captive audience.
We finished our tour of Lebanon where we started. I loved how you could walk in a neat little circle and see the entire downtown area! Shane did an amazing job for his session and I had a blast! Congratulations to the Class of 2022!
