I first met Miss L for her newborn session, and I can’t believe that was already almost two years ago! I mean just look at those tiny baby toes!

But Miss L is now a full blown toddler! Running around and being curious and doing all the things that toddlers do. So for her second birthday photos, we decided an outdoor session might be best for her. We chose Symmes Park in Loveland, Ohio for our session. It’s one of my favorite spots for photos of toddlers!

One of my favorite things about photographing toddlers is capturing their personalities. Miss L has always been a serious kid and wanted to study everything around her during our sessions. We found a pretty little white flower and she sat herself down in the middle of the path to study it.

It was a super hot day for our session. We stuck to the shady areas, and we all still pretty sweaty and sticky. So after doing some dry pictures we headed down to the creek! The cool water felt so good on my toes on such a summer-y day!

And of course, dad was never far away. Safety first! And there is nothing more special than exploring something new with your daddy!

Miss L is a nature lover. And her parents told me that she loves animals, so after our session was done I did a little magic on my end and put together a few animal themed images for her!

Such a fun time with Miss L and her parents! I can’t wait to see them again!
